Domain names renewal

Request for .RU, .SU or .АД domain name re-registration (renewal) may be sent 60 calendar days prior to the registration term expiration date.

To renew a domain name you will be required to:

  1. Log into R01 account manager using the agreement number as login. Agreement number can be found in the e-mail confirming your successful registration at R01 website. If you don't have an agreement with R01, then in order to renew a domain name you need to contact the company through which you have registered the domain name or transfer the domain name to the direct agreement with the Registrar.
  2. In "Finance" section of R01 account manager you can view your current balance amount and recharge it, if necessary.
  3. In "Domains" section of your account manager click on "Renew domain" link in the line of the domain name to be renewed and follow the wizard instructions. If the domain is not renewed before expiry of registration term it will be redelegated with special DNS servers: ns1.expired.r01.ru; ns2.expired.r01.ru. The domain will display a special parking page with a link to the domain name renewal page. In this case, the services which use this domain name will cease working: website, e-mail, etc. The overdue domain names are not put to parking on weekends and the next working day after them.

During the priority renewal period the Registrant reserves the right to renew domain name registration.

For the priority renewal period the Registrant has no right to perform any actions with the domain name, except re-registration. The duration of the priority renewal period is 30 calendar days after the expiration of registration term.

If the domain name is still not renewed during the priority renewal period, it will be released and may be registered by any person.
