About completed priority registration

General availability of domain names in .РФ TLD was preceded by a Sunrise registration period when Cyrillic addresses were only available to certain categories of users.

According to Provisions for Sunrise registration of domain names in .РФ TLD for certain categories of users, the following user categories are eligible for Sunrise registration of domain names in .РФ TLD:

1. exclusive owners of trademarks/service marks registered under national procedure in the Russian Federation or protected under international procedure on RF territory (applications are processed in the period from May 12 to September 16, 2010);
2. exclusive owners of trade names (applications are processed in the period from July 26 to September 16, 2010);
3. exclusive owners of geographical indications of goods origin (applications are processed in the period from July 26 to September 16, 2010);
4. non-profit organizations established under the Russian Federation legislation (applications are processed in the period from July 26 to September 16, 2010);
5. mass media owners registered before May 12, 2010, under the RF legislation, which products are subject to distribution on the whole RF territory (applications are processed in the period from July 26 to September 16, 2010).
