Fields interpretation as a result of Whois query for .RU domain names

The information is submitted by the R01 Registration System

domain — domain name

nserver — list of DNS services which the domain is delegated with. These DNS servers are in charge of, e.g., a domain name conversion into its IP address. Information on a domain name is stored at least on two DNS servers — Primary DNS and Secondary DNS (backup is envisaged for increased fail-safety of the system).

state — the field shows the registered domain name status: delegated or not delegated.

REGISTERED, DELEGATED — domain delegated
REGISTERED, NOT DELEGATED — domain not delegated

Note! Delegation is the mandatory condition for the domain operation capability.

org or person – registrant details,
- org — indicates that the registrant is a legal entity (specify name of entity here).
- "person" is an indication that the Registrant is an individual ("R01 Personal Data Operator protected" value is displayed instead of the name in "person" field of Whois service).

admin-contact – information about the registrant; the link indicated herein (https://partner.r01.ru/contact_admin.khtml) forwards to a special form where the Registrant may be asked a question which is sent to his e-mail address.

created – domain name registration date.

paid-till or reg-till – expiration date of the prepaid registration term.

free-date – the date when a domain name is released.

source — information source.

descr — domain brief description (free-form text).

registrar – unique ID of the registrar supporting the domain name.
