How do I create the domain alias?

The website alias (alternative name) is the so-called website mirror, i.e. the same resource available at another domain name.

To add the website alias, select (in Plesk control panel) the domain name of interest, click on "Alternative domain names" and add the required name.

Within 24 hours after adding the alias to hosting service you will get an e-mail with the subject line: "R01.RU: domain name [your_domain] has been added to hosting service".

If your domain name is available in R01 database under the same agreement as the hosting, an attempt will be made to perform DNS linking of the domain name to R01 hosting service in automatic mode. If the automatic mode was completed successfully, your domain name will point to R01 hosting in about 6-8 hours (the time needed for information distribution in the global DNS system).

If your domain name is not available in R01 database or automatic linking of the domain name has not been completed due to any reason, it shall be necessary to take actions described in DNS linking of the domain name to R01 hosting service.
