How do I install CMS (website content management system)?

CMS is the website content management system. Most commonly CMS is used to change and complement website sections, its graphics and design. CMS simplifies the process of website designing and editing its content. Usually the user is provided with a special interface — administration panel — to perform these operations.

The most popular CMS systems are: Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, UMI.CMS, Mambo.

You can automatically install many of the modern CMS (Joomla, Drupal, Mambo, etc.). Automatic installation usually takes few minutes only.

The following shall be done to install CMS automatically:

1. Log in to Plesk.
2. Go to information on your domain (click on the domain name as a link), then to "Applications" section and click on "Install web application"/"Add an application".
3. In the list of applications ("Web" subsection → "Content management") click on "Install" against any CMS of choice and follow the instructions.

Some applications require safe_mode disabling. In some cases it is possible to disable safe_mode from Plesk panel in the section with information on the domain name by clicking on "Installation" link. Besides, you can contact the technical support department by sending them a request to disable safe_mode from your contact e-mail to support@r01.ru address.

If you want to install the readily available Russified version of CMS you can select joomla-1.5.15.
For the purpose of Russification of other CMS, probably, it would be necessary to visit the website of the chosen system developer and follow their instructions on Russification.
